Mattea Henderson was crowned Miss Earth Canada 2019 during the finals held August 30 at the Clarion Hotel and Conference Centre in Calgary.
The 24-year-old marketing and international business graduate will head on to compete at the 2019 Miss Earth competition in October in the Philippines.
Her elemental court included Miss Air Jasmine Paguio, Miss Water Tiffany Tari, Miss Fire Jean de Jesus, and Miss Eco Tourism Alexandria Kleinschmidt.
Henderson is no stranger to pageants. In 2017, she competed in Miss Intercontinental. She also joined Miss Teen Universe 2014. Earlier this year, she joined Miss Universe Canada.
