Maryline Kouadio was crowned Miss Côte d’Ivoire 2020 during the finals held October 3 at the Sofitel Abidjan Hôtel Ivoire.
The 18-year-old tourism student from Yamoussoukro bested 19 other contestants for the title, succeeding outgoing titleholder Tara Gueye. She is expected to compete at the 60th Miss International beauty pageant in Japan next year.
Fatim Doukoure placed first runner-up, while Roxane Sangare finished second runner-up. Elvire Agbemadon and Eunice Brown were third and fourth runners-up, respectively.
