The Miss Earth Colombia organization has announced on its social media accounts that María Alejandra Camargo will represent Colombia at the Miss Earth 2024 pageant. The 27 year-old-beauty is an accomplished architect and experienced model. She is also a passionate advocate for Mother Earth. She graduated with top honors from Universidad Santo Tomás in Bogota.
In 2021, María Alejandra Camargo represented Santander during the Miss Universe Colombia competition but unfortunately she was unplaced. She hopes to become the first ever Colombian to win the Miss Earth crown.
