Patagonia’s Macarena Quinteros was crowned the new Miss Earth Chile during the finals held September 25.
The 22-year-old psychology student bested nine other candidates for the title and the right to represent Chile at the 2020 Miss Earth virtual competition in November.
Her elemental court included Miss Air Pamela Cárdenas (Isla de Chiloé), Miss Water Montserrat Larrondo Ávalo (Valparaíso), Miss Fire Vania Pool Opazo (San Pedro de Atacama), and Miss Ecotourism Victoria Muñoz (Rancagua).
Judges included Miss Earth 2016 Katherine Espin, Miss Earth Chile 2014 and Miss Universe Chile 2016 Catalina Cáceres, and Mister Mundo Chile 2019 Felipe Rojas.
