Miss Uruguay on September 20 announced the appointment of Lorena Sosa as Miss Earth Uruguay 2020.
The 22-year-old graphic designer and model from Treinta y Tres will represent Uruguay at the 2020 Miss Earth virtual competition in November.
Sosa is currently taking up a bachelor’s degree in IT. She volunteers at her hometown’s dog shelter. Earlier this year, she represented Uruguay in Reina de las Americas contest in Colombia, where she finished as virreina (vice queen). She was also a finalist in Miss Mundo Uruguay 2020.
