Liza Yastremskaya, who was first runner-up in last year’s Miss Ukraine Universe contest, has been named Miss Ukraine Universe 2020.
Due to the limitations brought by the Covid-19 pandemic, the organizing committee of Miss Ukraine Universe has decided to appoint the 27-year-old model from Kiev to represent the European nation in the next edition of the Miss Universe pageant.
Yastremskaya speaks English and French and graduated from Kyiv National Economic University with a degree in management and marketing.
Ukraine came so close to winning the Miss Universe crown when Olesia Stefanko placed first runner-up in 2011. The country currently ranks 49th in Missosology Big 5 Ranking. Missosology.Org
