Lindsey Marie Coffey, representing Atlantic Ocean, was crowned the new Miss Earth USA in a virtual competition held August 8.
The 28-year-old model will represent the USA in the next edition of the Miss Earth competition.
Her elemental court included Miss Air Shannon Lynch (District of Columbia), Miss Water Autumn Adams (Georgia), Miss Fire Leighanna Kingvalsky (Louisiana), and Miss Ecotourism Alexandra Curtis (Rhode Island).
Coffey earned a bachelor’s degree in political science and a minor in communication arts. Her long term goal is to obtain a Juris Doctor degree and implement new legislation to protect and improve our society and planet. To reduce her carbon footprint, she is a vegetarian and always shops organic and local. She enjoys volunteering for Adopt-A-Highway, Pittsburgh Downtown Partnership, and The Humane Society.
The USA came so close to winning its first Miss Earth crown last year when Emanii Davis finished Miss Earth Air. The country currently ranks first in Missosology’s Big5 ranking. Missosology.Org; Photos from Lindsey Coffeey Instagram page
