The 19-year-old model and actress who originally hails from the city of Kristiansand will represent Norway at Miss Earth 2022 pageant. Lilly Sødal is a keen entrepreneur focusing on sustainability and she currently resides in the capital city of Oslo.
Thrilled by her new title, Lilly Sødal posted the following in her Instagram account, “I am so excited to finally announce that I will be Miss Earth Norway 2022, and will represent my country in @missearth this fall! I am so excited to finally share this with you guys! I’ve been working on this for a long time, and I can’t to see what this journey will bring and share it along the way with you guys!💕”
Norway was once considered as one of the countries with strong sash weight but beauty pageants has been in decline in the country recently. At Miss Earth, Norway managed to land in the semifinals twice. Fay Larsen was one of the Top 10 semifinalists in 2003 while Birgitte Korsvik is one of the Top 16 in 2004. The country is currently ranked 26th at the Big5 Ranking.
