Lawnda Jackson has been crowned Miss Jamaica Supranational 2021, taking over the reign from Kimberly Dawkins who placed in the Top 30 of Miss Supranational in December 2019.

The 2021 competition was held virtually due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Eleven contestants from across Jamaica participated. They submitted videos in evening wear, swimwear and did their interview with a panel of judges.

Nicole Henry placed first runner-up while Dailia Harvey finished second runner-up, Chantel Gray and Natassia Reid were third and fourth runners-up, respectively.

Lawnda will now turn her attention in preparing for the international competition to be held later this year in Poland.

The focus of the competition is on the promotion of tourism. This year’s competition will see each of the ladies submitting a charity project. Miss Supranational is one of the Big5 pageants in the world.

Jamaica has placed three times at Miss Supranational but has yet to win the crown. It currently ranks 30th in Missosology Big 5 Ranking. Missosology.Org
