The new Miss Earth Puerto Rico organization has chosen the island’s representative to the next Miss Earth edition.
Krystal Xamairy, an 18-year-old model, will travel to the Philippines for the 2018 Miss Earth finals in November.
Born and raised in Arecibo, Xamairy was the first winner of Iconic Model Search contest and has been modelling for five years. She also enjoys surfing.
The new Miss Earth Puerto Rico organization is led by Vanessa de Roide, Miss Earth 2005 Top 8 finalist and Nuestra Belleza Latina 2012, and Joe Amhed.
“For us, it was not easy (choosing) because we had several candidates on the table,” said Amhed. “We wanted a girl we already know (and) we know her dedication and integrity when it comes to working.” Missosology.Org
