Kelly van den Dungen will represent the Netherlands at the 10th Miss Supranational contest to be held in December in Poland.
“I can’t describe the love what I have for pageants and the people around me know for sure that it’s a part of my life,” the 24-year-old pageant veteran said in an Instagram post announcing her appointment as Miss Supranational Netherlands.
“This area of ‘competition’ is meant to build girls up, not tear them down. The skills I have gained from pageantry have and will continue to carry over to my real life. I teach things like to have discipline, a better communication and it gives me more confidence.”
Van den Dungen is a Media, Information and Communication graduate at the Hogeschool van Amsterdam.
She was a runner-up in Miss Nederland 2016 and competed in Miss Grand International 2017.
The Netherlands has yet to win the Miss Supranational crown. Missosology.Org
