Kate Marie has been named as England’s representative to the Miss Earth 2021 virtual pageant to be held in November.

“I’m very excited to announce I am your new Miss Earth England! I have waited years and years to finally make that statement. I can’t wait to compete in the final of Miss Earth over the coming months with the coronation scheduled for November 21st,” she posted on Instagram.

Marie, 27, is studying a Bachelor of Liberal Arts degree at Harvard University. She has her own company, LA Rush, that makes luxury swimwear out of ocean waste and donates 10% of profits to Healthy Seas, a clean oceans charity. Her hobbies include scuba diving (she is a qualified PADI advanced scuba diver) and rock climbing.

No stranger to pageants, Marie represented the UK at the 2016 Miss Eco International in Egypt. A year later, she represented England at the Miss Global 2017 pageant in Cambodia. In 2018, she entered the Miss Earth England contest and was adjudged Miss Water. She was also finalist in Miss England 2021.
