Karolína Kokešová has been named as Czech Republic’s representative to the 70th Miss Universe competition in Eilat, Israel in December.
The 25-year-old international model succeeds 2020 titleholder Klára Vavrušková.
Kokešová is no stranger to pageants, as she won the Miss Global 2019 title held in Mexico. In 2018, she joined Miss Czech Republic and placed third runner-up.
“Although I currently have an international title as Miss Global, this next international experience for me is more about continuing the journey to empower women. Yes it’s another competition but my view on the difference between girls and women: girls compete whereas women empower,” she posted on Instagram.
