Jissel Rivera was crowned Miss Earth Honduras 2021 during the finals held September 25.
The 20 year-old systems engineering student will represent the nation at the 2021 Miss Earth pageant to be held later this year.
“Thank you for trusting me, I will give my best effort and I will continue to prepare to give my all and leave the name of our Honduras high,” she posted on Instagram.
Rivera is part of an organization dedicated to the reforestation of mangroves and the cleaning of the Roatan beaches. She wanted to become an entrepreneur in the world of beauty to help women achieve empowerment in Honduras.
