JB Saliba was named Mr World Philippines 2018 in glittering finale held October 23 at the Newport Performing Arts Theater of Resorts World Manila in Pasay City.
The 25-year-old actor from Olongapo City will be the host delegate as the country stages the next edition of the Mr World pageant in January 2019. The former University of the Philippines baseball player and Amazing Race Philippines contestant also bagged a number of special awards, including Bench Body (Best in Swimwear).

Meanwhile, the Mister Supranational Philippines 2018 title went to Filipino-Italian model Marco Poli from Matabungkay, Batangas. The 25-year-old former Philippines U23 national football team member will represent the country at the 2018 Mister Supranational competition in December in Krynica-Zdroj, Poland.
Robin Hanrath from Bay, Laguna won the Mr Eco Philippines 2018 title. The 20-year-old agricultural economics student from UP Los Baños will travel to Egypt for the inaugural Mr Eco International competition.
The Mister Multinational Philippines 2018 title was awarded to Denver Hernandez from Malvar, Batangas. The 24-year-old model, who grew up in Italy, will compete in the first edition of the Mr Multinational pageant in India. Hernandez was a semifinalist in Men Universe Model 2017.
Ameen Sardouk and Wilfred Placencia placed first and second runners-up, respectively. Abdullah Cheng and Joy Jerome Evangelista completed the Top 8 finalists.
Reiging Miss Multinational Sophila Senoron and Miss Eco International Cynthia Thomalla were among the judges. Miss World Philippines 2017 Laura Lehmann and RJ Ledesma hosted the show.
