Jannatul Ferdous Oishee from Pirojpur was crowned Miss World Bangladesh 2018 during the finals held September 30 at the International Convention City Bashundhara in Dhaka.
The 18-year-old beauty will now head on to compete at the 2018 Miss World finals in December in Sanya, China.
“I love my country and my culture. I have been fighting for myself as of now, but from now on, I have to fight for my country. It’s a great responsibility for me and I seek blessings from all,” she was quoted by bdnews24.com.
Nishat Mawa Salwa and Naziba Bushra placed first and second runners-up, respectively.
