19-year-old model Italy Mora won the Miss Universe Panama 2024 title at the conclusion of the Señorita Panamá 2024 pageant held at Teatro Anayansi in the Atlapa Convention Center in Panama City. She will compete for the Miss Universe 2024 title in Mexico this November.
Italy Mora hopes to be the second Miss Universe titleholder from her country. She was crowned by the current Miss Universe Sheynnis Palacios of Nicaragua. A total of 23 candidates participated in the pageant. The other five finalists are: first runner-up, Lilian Ashby de Panamá Centro; second runner-up, Mirna Caballini; 3rd runner-up, Brigthey Estrella Castillo; and the 4th runner-up, Shahani Guardia.
