Ghazal Gill, representing the West Coast, was crowned Miss US International 2019 during the finals held June 28 at Celebration High School in Kissimmee, Florida.

The 23-year-old Indian-American model bested 32 other candidates for the right to represent the USA at the 2019 Miss International beauty pageant in November in Japan.

“I am beyond excited and so blessed to be able to have the opportunity to be the new Miss US International,” Gill posted on Instagram. “It still feels like I am dreaming and I just cannot wait to start my reign and I hope to make our country proud.”

Gill is no stranger to pageants as she was fourth runner-up in Miss California USA 2018.

Also crowned in the same event is Miss US Landscapes 2019 Brianne Bailey of California.

North Carolina’s Jessica Lucas finished first runner-up, while Hawaii’s Raquel Basco was 2nd runner-up. Nevada’s Emily Irene placed 3rd runner-up.
