France’s representatives to two of the Big5 beauty pageants have been chosen.
Miss France 2018 Maëva Coucke, who competed in last year’s Miss World contest, will represent the country at the 2019 Miss Universe competition.
“I am happy to represent our country for the second time in an international competition,” Coucke posted on Instagram. “Miss Universe is for me a new challenge that I intend to take to go as far as possible in this adventure and make you proud.”
Meanwhile, Miss France 2019 first runner-up Ophély Mézino will travel to London for the 2019 Miss World contest in December.
“To represent France at an international level has always been one of my biggest dreams,” Mézino posted on Instagram.
