After 43 years, Morocco is returning to the Miss Universe stage.
The Miss Universe Morocco 2021 competition concluded on November 6 with Fatima-Zahra Khayat winning the top plum.
The 26-year-old financial analyst will represent the country at the 70th edition of the Miss Universe competition in Eilat, Israel in December.
“This title is an opportunity to show all the girls that anything is possible and that all dreams come true,” she said.
Miss Universe Spain 2021 Sarah Loinaz, who was born to a Moroccan mother and Spanish father, was special guest at the coronation night.
Morocco’s last participated in Miss Universe in 1978. It currently ranks 140th in Missosology Big5 Ranking. Missosology.Org
