The Miss Earth UK 2017 contest concluded on July 15 with the crowning of the representatives of England and Wales for Miss Earth.
Charlotte Brooke from Berkshire was crowned Miss Earth England 2017. She received the crown from last year’s winner Luissa Burton who made history as the first Miss England to place in the semifinals of Miss Earth.
Brooke, 24, works as a model. She is currently training to become a yoga teacher. She is a big fitness enthusiast and has been vegan for a year and a half.
Meanwhile, the Miss Earth Wales 2017 crown went to Sophie Bettridge from Tredegar. She was crowned by last year’s winner Charlotte Hitchman.
Bettridge, 22, is a nurse and ambassador for Hospice of the Valleys.
Their elemental court included Miss Air Rosemary Lloyd, Miss Water Molly-Marie Buckley and Miss Fire Holly Broomfield.
