Elis Miele, representing Espirito Santo, was crowned Miss Brasil Mundo 2019 during the finals held September 3 in Bento Gonçalves, Rio Grande do Sul.

The 20-year-old stunner bested 41 other candidates for the title and right to represent the country at the 2019 Miss World finals in December in London.

Miss Caminho dos Príncipes Fernanda Souza was named Vice Vice Miss Brasil Mundo 2019. She will compete at the 2019 Miss Supranational competition in December in Poland.

Miss Rio Grande do Sul Jéssica Lírio finished third. Santa Catarina’s Elizama Aguilar and Fernando de Noronha’s Iully Thaísa completed the Top 5.

This marks the second time that the state of Espirito Santo won the Miss Brasil Mundo, after Anuska Prado bagged the title in 1996.
