The 2020 queens of Concurso Nacional de Belleza were official crowned in a special ceremony held September 1 on “De Casa en Casa” TV show. The four ladies were previously chosen in a virtual selection due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
The Miss World Ecuador 2020 crown went to Amar Pacheco Ibarra, a 23-year-old music student. Meanwhile, Justeen Cruz Lara, a 22-year-old interior design student, was crowned Miss Supranational Ecuador 2020.
Also crowned in the event were Miss Intercontinental Ecuador 2020 Paola Macias and Miss Grand Ecuador 2020 Lisseth Naranjo.
Concurso Nacional de Belleza Ecuador, which holds the rights to send the country’s representatives to Miss World and Miss Supranational, was forced to cancel the finals set for May 23 due to the Covid-19 pandemic and went ahead with an online selection instead.
