Distrito Federal’s Deise Benicio was crowned Miss Supranational Brazil 2020 during the finals held November 28.

The 28-year-old pageant veteran bested 28 other candidates for the title and the right to represent Brazil in the next edition of the Miss Supranational pageant. She received the crown from last year’s winner Fernanda Souza.

Sergipe’s Bruna Zanardo (Miss Earth Brazil 2016 and Miss International Brazil 2017) placed first runner-up. Sao Paulo’s Jéssica Caroline, Reconcaco Baiano’s Tainara Bac, and Minas Gerais’ Luma Russo completed the Top 5.

Benicio was second runner-up in Miss Brasil 2014. She was sent to the Miss International 2014 beauty pageant in Japan where she placed in the Top 10.

Brazil has yet to win the Miss Supranational crown. The country currently ranks 3rd in Missosology Big5 Ranking. Missosology.Org
