Davin Prasath, 33, is the new Miss Universe Cambodia! She will represent her country at the Miss Universe 2024 pageant which will be held in Mexico City. The finals night is set on November 16 at the Arena CDMX. To date, no Cambodian woman has ever made it to the semis of Miss Universe.
The victory of Davin Prasath is historic as she is the first ever married Cambodian woman to win the prestigious national crown. She is a fitness model, actress, model and a mother to a 5-year-old daughter. So far, she is the only married Asian woman in the current list of Miss Universe 2024 contestants. In her final speech, she expressed her hope to become “a symbol of boundless potential that resides in every woman.”
Two years ago, Miss Universe Organization announced several changes with rules. It allowed married, pregnant women and mothers to compete. It also opened its doors to transgenders and removed the age limit.
