Panama’s representative for the 2017 Miss International beauty pageant has been selected.
Darelys Santos, the first runner-up at the Señorita Panama 2017 competition, was crowned Señorita Panamá International 2017 2017 in a special ceremony held Tuesday, September 19. She will travel to Japan to compete in the international pageant in November.

Santos, who represented Panamá Norte in Señorita Panamá, received the crown from last year’s Miss International Panama Daniela Ochoa. The crown was designed by George Wittels.
The 22-year-old psychology student joins the rest of the Señorita Panama queens who will be competing in the Big5 pageants this year: Laura De Sanctis (Señorita Panamá 2017 for Miss Universe), Jualianne Britton (Señorita Panamá Mundo) and Erika Parker (Señorita Panamá Tierra). Missosology.Org
