After a year of absence, the most popular segment in the Miss World pageant makes a return.
The first official event of Miss World 2017 for the contestants was the “Dances of the World” auditions. “Dances of the World”, which began in 2009, gives contestants a chance to display their culture through costume and dance.

“The contestants brought to the audition room brilliant performances and costumes with colour, sparkles, feathers, and more,” writes the Miss World website. “All costumes will be featured in the ‘Dances of the World’ performance and the best of the best will have their dances featured, and performed by all of the contestants.”
