Claudia Motta was crowned Miss Mondo Italia 2021 during the finals held September 26.
The 21-year-old law student and dancer from Velletri will represent Italy at the 70th Miss World contest to be held in December in Puerto Rico.
Lucia La Paglia (Lazio) and Martina Ballardini (Veneto) placed first and second runners-up, respectively.
“I believe so much in myself and I have always fought to achieve my goals. Puerto Rico is waiting for me, to give Italy that success it has never achieved, crowning a memorable year for Italian successes,” she said.
