Caterina Di Fuccia, representing Lazio, was crowned Miss Universe Italy 2021 during the finals held September 26 at Fiera Di Roma.
The 24-year-old teacher and runway coach from Marcianise bested 23 other finalists for the title. She will represent the nation at the 70th Miss Universe competition in Eilat, Israel in December.
“Credete sempre, fino alla fine, nei vostri sogni… Perché si avverano (Always believe, until the end, in your dreams … Because they come true),” she posted on Instagram.
Di Fuccia previously competed in Miss Mondo Italia 2016 and placed in the Top 16. In 2019, she joined Miss Italia 2019 and placed in the Top 10.
