Camila Gonzalez, the first runner-up at recently-concluded 2018 Miss Universe Canada pageant, is the new Miss International Canada.
The 21-year-old journalist from Toronto will head on to represent the country at the 2018 Miss International beauty pageant to be held in Japan in November.
“Everything happens for a reason and I am whole-heartedly accepting this destiny with commitment, love and pride,” Gonzalez said in an Instagram post.
Gonzales is no stranger to pageants as she placed third runner-up at Miss Universe Canada 2016, Top 8 at Miss All Nations 2016, and is the first Canadian representative at Reina Hispanoamericana in 2017. Missosology.Org
