As predicted by Missosology, Daniel Georgiev of Bulgaria was crowned Man of the World 2019 during the finals held July 11 at the Fil-Oil Flying V Center in San Juan City, Philippines.

The 25-year-old model bested 29 other contestants for the title and the right to become the global ambassador of the pageant’s “Masculinity with Responsibility” advocacy.

Georgiev is the first European winner of the three-year old Philippine-based competition. Aside from winning the top plum, he also bagged the Best in Swimwear award. He was also won the Psalmstre New Placenta Choice, Mr David’s Salon, and Sha-Wraps Ambassador corporate awards

Korea’s Jin Kyum who won Best in Formal Wear and Sha-Wraps Ambassador, placed first runner-up. Brazil’s Jean Fillippe Vitor Silva finished second runner-up and bagged the Best in Advocacy award. Jakub Jurcak of Czech Republic (Best in Beach Wear) and John Paul Ocat of the Philippines were third and fourth runners-up, respectively.

Other special awards went to the delegates of Spain (Best in National Costume), Guinea and Sudan (Congeniality), India (Photogenic), Namibia (Fashion of the World), and Lebanon and Morocco (Personality).
