Charlene Gonzales-Muhlach – Binibining Pilipinas-Universe 1994
Actress-TV host and former beauty queen Charlene Gonzales-Muhlach led the line-up of the much awaited Araneta Center Grand Santacruzan held on Sunday, May 18.
The Santacruzan commemorates Queen Helena (Reyna Elena) and her son Constantine’s search for the Holy Cross in Jerusalem. This has become an iconic tradition in the country held during the fiesta month of May. Araneta Center’s version of the Santacruzan has become a staple in the celebration of Flores de Mayo in the metropolis with the pageantry and overload of Binibinis.

The reigning Miss Universe Philippines Mary Jean Lastimosa served as Reyna Elena, and followed by Gonzales, Bb Pilipinas-Universe 1994, as Reyna Emperatriz. Also exhibiting their beauty and style in their Filipinianas are Bb Pilipinas International 2014 Bianca Guidotti, Bb Pilipinas Intercontinental 2014 Kris Tiffany Janson, Bb Pilipinas Supranational 2014 Yvethe Marie Santiago, Bb Pilipinas Tourism 2014 Parul Shah and runners-up Laura Lehmann and Hannah Sison.
