Aryam Diaz Rosado was crowned the new Miss Mundo de Puerto Rico during the finals on April 21 in Alejandro Tapia Theater in San Juan, held without an audience due to strict Covid-19 protocols.
The TV host and model from Naranjito will be the host delegate at the 70th Miss World finals to be held in December in Puerto Rico.
Bárbara Betancourt placed first runner-up while Bianka Torres was second runner-up. Raishmar Carrillo and Chelsey García completed the Top 6.
“I am very happy and honored for all the effort. I will represent Puerto Rico with great pride and preparation at the international level. Simply thankful to God and the people who supported me. It is a joy for me, the effort was really worth it,” Diaz was quoted by Primera Hora.
