Antonia Cristal Figueroa, the representative of Coquimbo, was crowned Miss Earth Chile 2018 during the finals held September 16 at Teatro Diego Rivera in Puerto Montt.
The 23-year-old civil engineering student bested 15 other candidates for the title and the right to represent the country at the 2018 Miss Earth competition in November in the Philippines.
Her elemental court included Miss Air Camila Hinojosa, Miss Water Kelsey Kohller and Miss Fire Catalina Figueroa. Keithyn Ahumada and Marlene Navarro placed fifth and sixth, respectively.
Figueroa works as a model and speaks four languages (Spanish, English, German and Portuguese). She plays the violin since she was five years old and is a national champion in taekwondo.
