Japanese-Thai Anna Tode was crowned Miss Earth Japan 2020 during the finals held September 16 in Tokyo.
The 20-year-old biology major from Saitama bested 28 other candidates for the title and the right to represent the country at the 2020 Miss Earth virtual competition in November.
Her elemental court included Miss Air Erina Hanawa (Tochigi), Miss Water Naho Yasukawa (Osaka), and Miss Fire Nagisa Tsutsumi (Iwate).
