Anita Kate Umuratwa was crowned Miss Supranational Rwanda 2020 during the finals held at Century Park Hotel, Nyarutarama in March.

The 20-year-old information management student will represent the country at the 12th Miss Supranational competition in Poland in August. She received the crown from 2019 winner Shanita Umunyana.

“I worked hard for this crown since the beginning, I’ve put a lot of effort into this, I’ve really done my best and, when I sit back, I attribute this crown to hard work,” Umuratwa was quoted by The New Times.

Denyse Uwase and Carine Umuganwa placed first and second-runners-up, respectively.

Rwanda has yet to win the Miss Supranational crown. It currently ranks 151st in Missosology Big 5 Ranking. Missosology.Org; Photos from Miss Supranational Rwanda page
