A 27-year-old talent acquisition specialist was crowned Miss Cayaman Islands 2017 during the finals held March 25.
Anika Conolly, from West Bay, bested four other candidates en route to winning the crown and the chance to represent the islands in Miss World and Miss Universe pageants.
Conolly also bagged the Best in Gown and Best Smile special awards. She holds a bachelor’s degree with a specialization in globalization and a certificate in human resources studies. She is also an aspiring singer.
Kristin Amaya finished first runner-up. She also bagged People’s Choice, Miss Photogenic and Best Legs awards.
Mahalia Seymour placed second runner-up and bagged the Miss Congeniality and Best Legs (tied with Amaya) award. Missosology.Org
