Outgoing Miss Earth Spain Zaira Bas, who was a Top 8 finisher at the Miss Earth 2014 pageant, relinquished her crowned to Andrea Pannocchia at the conclusion of intense screening on October 18 at the Eurostars Palace hotel in Cordoba.
No Spanish beauty has ever won the Miss Earth crown. Andrea Pannocchia however will represent a nation that is pretty strong in the world of beauty pageants. Spain currently ranks 6th in the Big4 Ranking. It has 2 Top 8 finishers at Miss Earth and has landed at the semis in 3 instances.
