Andrea Aguilera was crowned Miss Mundo Colombia 2021 in a special ceremony held at the Club Militar de Oficiales del Ejército in Bogotá.
The 24-year-old professional model and presenter from Antioquia will head on to represent the South American nation at the 70th Miss World in December in Puerto Rico. She succeeded 2019 winner Sara Arteaga.
Lina Marcela Ramírez (Valle) was the vice-queen, while Yarith Barbosa (Norte de Santander) was named 1st princess.
Andre has a diploma in Neuro-linguistic Programming and a Technician in Early Childhood Care. Her Beauty with a Purpose project “Nutrir Neuronas” tackles child malnutrition. She is working with “Othello Nutrition” to give specialized nutritional food to hundreds of children with chronic malnutrition.
