Ana Carolina Ugarte will represent the powerhouse country of Venezuela at the 2017 Miss World pageant, Organización Miss Venezula said in a statement posted on its website.

She was selected through a rigorous casting where in addition to beauty other qualities were considered such as social work developed on a personal basis, among other aspects. Remember that for the Miss World Organization, it is very important not only the beauty but the volunteer work that the candidates do,” said Osmel Sousa, Organisation Miss Venezula president.
Ugarte will be officially crowned Miss Venezuela Mundo this month. She represented Monagas in Miss Venezuela 2013, where she was awarded Miss Elegancia.
The 67th edition of the Miss World pageant will be held on November 18 at the Beauty Crown Theater in Sanya, China.
Venezuela has won six Miss World crowns. The country, however, has been struggling to enter the semifinals since it last won the title in 2011. Missosology.Org
