Showstars Spain, the official franchise holder of Miss Earth in Spain, has stripped Noemí Sartal with her Miss Earth Spain 2017 title. Conflicting obligations with her modelling career and breach of her obligations were cited as the reasons for the dethronement.
The second runner-up of Showstars Spain 2017, Ainara de Santamaría Villamor from Cantabria, has been declared as the new Miss Earth Spain 2017. Ainara will represent Spain at the Miss Earth 2017 contest later this year in the Philippines. Missosology wishes her all the best of luck for the international competition.
