Ahlam Ismail, more popularly known as Lamu, was crowned Miss Earth Uganda 2021 in a ceremony held September 30 at the Nyaika Hotel in Fort Portal City.
The 24-year-old East African Afro-urban & pop music artist and writer from Soroti will represent the country at the 2021 Miss Earth virtual pageant to be held in November. She succeeded 2020 winner Priscillah Mbabazi.
Ismail is also an international relations and diplomatic studies student at Victoria University.
