The Miss Panamá Mundo pageant was held at the Hotel Riu Plaza Panama, Ciudad de Panamá, Panama, in April 8, 2014. Twenty four contestants from all over Panama compete for the prestigious title. This year at the behest of Miss World Organization, the election of Panama’s representative for the pageant will be held in a separate competition in lieu of the traditional national election. Virginia Hernández Miss Panamá World 2013 crowned to Raiza Patricia Erlenbaugh Soriano as the new Miss Panamá World.
The 22 year old from Ancón won the national title giving her the exciting opportunity to carry the Panamanian flag at the Miss World 2014 finals this November in UK.
