Savannah Gankiewicz will assume the title of Miss USA 2023 after the originally winner Noelia Voigt resigned. The latter cited mental health as her reason for resigning but as of press time, the Miss USA organization is yet to issue an official statement. Insiders however has cited toxic working culture and bullying as the reasons why Noelia resigned.
Savannah Gankiewicz was the first runner-up at the Miss USA 2023 pageant held in Nevada in September last year were she represented the state of Hawaii. Savannah works as a model and is of Filipino, Polish and Vietnamese descent. She is expected to be formally crowned as Miss USA next week.
