Venezuela once again asserted its sash weight after Andrea Rubio, 24, was crowned as the new Miss International. Andrea’s victory solidified the top position of Venezuela at the pageant and now the country has 9 Miss International titleholders. Indeed, Venezuela remains a beauty superpower.
The top choice of Missosology’s beauty experts, Miss Colombia Sofia Osio settled for the first runner-up position. Meanwhile, Miss Peru Camila Díaz, Miss Philippines Nicole Borromeo and Miss Bolivia Vanessa Hayes were crowned as the first, second and third runners-up respectively. Miss Thailand Supaporn Ritthipruek and Miss Mexico Itzia Garcia completed the Top 7.
The finals night was held at Yoyogi National Gymnasium in Shibuya, Tokyo with a total of 70 contestants from all over the world.
