The Digital First Media Company, Ltd and Miss International Laos Organization has announced the appointment of Puangtip Malichanh as Miss International Laos 2022. She will represent Laos at the Miss International 2022 pageant which will be held this December in Tokyo, Japan. Puangtip was born in the United States but was raised in Laos. She is actively pursuing her advocacy on women equality and education focusing those who dropped out form the schools.
Laos debuted at Miss International in 2017 with the participation of Phounesup Phonyotha where she made it to the Top 8. The country is currently ranked 150th at the Big5 Ranking.
