Jessica Scandiuzzi Pedroso is the new Miss Brazil Earth. The 23-year-old fashion model and teacher will compete at the Miss Earth 2022 pageant which will be held in Manila on November 29. She represented the state of Sao Paulo in a pageant held at Sheraton Sao Paulo WTC Hotel and participated by 28 delegates from the different states of Brazil. Eduarda Van de Sand representing the state of Parana was named as Miss Earth Brazil-Air 2022 while Larissa Han from the state of Espirito Santo was named Miss Earth Brazil-Water 2022. Completing the elemental court is Juliana Rosa of Sanata Catarina who took the Miss Earth Brazil-Fire 2022 title.
The Miss Brazil Earth franchise is under the new ownership with Marcelo Reformato now at helm. Brazil has two Miss Earth titleholders: Priscilla Meirelles who won in 2004 and Larissa Ramos who won in 2009. The country is currently ranked 4th at the Big 5 ranking.
