Amber Koelewijn, 17, is the new Miss World Netherlands. She was crowned in an event held at Amsterdam where a total of 12 finalists competed for the title. The first runner-up is Nova Cheyen while the second runner-up is Robey Bruins. An anti-bullying advocate, Amber Koelewijn will compete at the 71st edition of Miss World pageant.
The Netherlands has two Miss World winners: Corine Rottschäfer (1959) and Catharina Johanna Lodders (1962). The country is currently ranked 21st in the Big5 Ranking.
