Representing the Demerara-Mahaica region, Andrea King is the new Miss World Guyana and is expected to represent Guyana at the 71st Miss World pageant. A lover of fashion, photography and dance, Andrea she hails from the capital city Georgetown. She has a Bachelors degree in Business Administration from the University of Guyana and has worked in telecommunications business. Andrea King was crowned after defeating 4 other finalists in a glittering event held at the National Cultural Center, Georgetown.
The 5 finalists of Miss World Guyana pageant had been subjected to various challenges leading to the finals night. They competed in Sports and Fitness competition, Head to Head/Debate competition as well as the Talent competition where Andrea King is the winner.
