The 19 year-old psychology student from the city of Manaus is the first ever Miss Brasil Mundo from the state of Amazonas. The pageant was held in the capital city of Brasilia. Gaby Araújo from Espírito Santo is the first runner-up while Ana Carolina Manginelli of São Paulo is the 2nd runner-up. Completing the Top 5 are Isabella Gregorutti of Recôncavo Baiano (3rd runner-up) and Thuany Cristine of Rio Grande do Norte (4th runner-up).

Letícia Frota will represent Brazil at the 71st Miss World which pageant insiders say will be considered as Miss World 2023. The 2021 edition was cancelled after a COVID-19 outbreak in Puerto Rico and was moved to March 2022. Karolina Bielawska of Poland was crowned and assumed the title of Miss World 2022. Letícia will also serve as an ambassador for the project aimed at combating leprosy in Brazil.

Brazil has one Miss World titleholder – Lúcia Petterle who was crowned in 1971. The country is considered as a beauty powerhouse and is currently ranked 4th at the Big5 Ranking.
